As announced by the President starting tomorrow DFAS will begin depositing $1,776.00 into Soldier’s accounts directly. Conditions for these deposits are that it is paid to O6 and below with at least 30 days on active duty by 30 November. The payment will not be taxed and will not reflect on the LES or W2.
