The reveal took place at the Detroit Free Press Breakfast Club series, which included GM President Mark Reuss and auto titan Roger Penske.

Cadillac has run its 2026 F1 car for the first time during a shakedown at the Silverstone circuit, with Sergio Perez behind the wheel.

"Aston Martin’s agreement with Formula 1 to provide the official FIA safety and medical car concluded at the end of the 2025 season," the automaker said. "Having amplified the brand’s return to F1, we are grateful for the association and success of holding this critical role on the grid for the past five years."

Aston Martin will stop supplying Formula 1’s safety and medical cars from the 2026 season, leaving Mercedes as the sole provider.
